Gallery 386 (Oct 24, 2012). It's gradually becoming cooler here. One needs weather-proof clothing and solid footwear for a proper autumn walk. Well, I chose Hunters and a yellow oilskin jacket (so-called "Friesennerz"), both in bright yellow of course — I finally had to compete with the golden colors of autumn. Sometime we decided to cross a quite large mudflat area. I started squelching through the soft ground, covered my boots up to their tops in the sloppy mud. To get out of the area at the opposite estuary I had to cross a rather wide water hole. But that was much deeper than thought! In short: I ended up hip-deep. Enjoy!
