Gallery 384 (Oct 10, 2012). These sky high crotch boots are a true challenge. And, admittedly, even a bit too tall for me. But that's certainly not a disadvantage but rather a unique feature: Crotch boots can never be high enough, right? The spot we visited here was not even deep enough for them. Though almost! But, to be honest, I hadn't really intended to flood them. They rather should protect me from the cold water, plants and mud. And indeed, my feet stayed absolutely dry since these boots do not have any zippers through which water could seep. And I really didn't spare them! Even on hard gravel and stony ground!
