Gallery 1020 (Dec 18, 2024). Fine weather in autumn and an equally fine pond with tidal mud (and an uprooted tree). I wore my shiny red Marc Jacobs heeled boots, latex trousers, my camouflage jacket and matching red rubber gloves. So I was perfectly equipped for a dirty action. Right at the start, I had the idea that I could replant the little tree that was lying halfway in the soft mud. Oh boys, I had totally misjudged the work. The root ball was completely soaked with mud and far too heavy for me to even move it. I tried to straighten it up anyway, which was halfway successful. Meanwhile, of course, I sank deeper and deeper into the mud with my boots. Eventually they even sank into the mud up to the top of the boots... what I had hoped for, honestly. Have fun watching.
