I wore overknee boots, but I never thought I'd sink in that deep. At the deepest point I almost panicked because I thought that I wouldn't be able to get out of the swamp on my own. Fortunately Leon could help me out. In the end there was hardly a clean spot on my clothes. But that is not an unknown experience during our adventures, as you know.
