Plain green wellies, for example, without buckles and unnecessary frills but perfect for protecting from water and mud. And that was absolutely necessary today, because we haven't seen this pond in its drained condition for a while. We weren't sure how deep the ground would get, so I continuously checked it with a branch. Yes, it was deep but fortunately only up to the tops of my boots. Nice and even a bit special, isn't it?
