But what I really mean is to know a pond like the back of your hand! We have seen (and explored) all those ponds when they were empty. Today's pond was flooded. Drawing on our experience, we could identify some shallower spots and rocky areas. We did not know, however, if there would be soft, muddy spots below on the ground. I dared anyhow. And yes, the waders got flooded. The water not only spilled over their chest top, it even splashed into the décolleté of my latex blouse, eek... (44 pictures and 6:11 min video in the members area).
