The mudflats have turned into a patchwork of cracked plates and jagged scars in the ground. But I should have known better. Such appearances can be misleading! Hardly a couple of steps onto the dusty field and I already mired up to the knees. And yes, there was indeed soft mud under the bone-dry surface. (52 pictures and 6:13 min video in the members area).
