Gallery 307 (Apr 13, 2011). This day we came to a drained pond which appeared to be filled up with soil. Soon it became clear that the earth heaps formed a kind of dyke ridge, which divides the pond into two parts. Curious like we are, we immediately decided to investigate the promising region between the gray pond mud and the red soil. At the beginning I wore a pair of vintage Phoenix wellies but they turned out to be too short for our endeavor. With Leons' help I exchanged them for a pair of knee-high, high-heeled fashion boots. And because I didn't want to leave the wellies behind I simply put them on like gloves... As if I had suspected already that I would have to struggle through the mud on all fours.
