Gallery 1099 (Jun 24, 2026). Those were ideal conditions for my chest waders: a long ditch that eventually led straight into the open water of a pond.
We almost missed it, because at the beginning it was completely overgrown. But gradually it opened up — partly covered with algae, but near the pond it already had clear, clean water. I tried wading through the ditch. Where I couldn't get any further, I had to get out and get back in a little further down. A wonderful treat awaited me then in the pond.
The water was almost chest-deep, and I just had a blast, as you can see. I hope you enjoy the picturs.
