Gallery 1017 (Nov 27, 2024). Somehow I was prepared for a posh adventure, but then we came to this drained pond, which looked very promising. The knee-high heeled boots seemed halfway suitable, but I wanted more protection for my hands. So I put on the shoulder-length latex gloves so that I could reach into the mud if I should lose my balance. Yes, I have enough experience to know what to expect. The bank was already quite dry and so I first came to a pond area with very sticky mud. But near the inlet, the bottom became softer and also deeper. You guessed it, that's where the fun began!
